The Marker consists of the next items:
| System menu button | Calls the Marker popup system menu; |
| Close button | Closes the Marker and runs the Areas program; |
| Help button | Opens this reference; |
| Options 'M' button | Opens the options dialog to change the program settings; |
| Erase all button | Erases all areas drawn; |
| Color menu button | Calls the Marker popup color menu to select the color you want or to select the stamp option; |
| Draw and erase item | Hangs the Marker to draw the areas over the screen or to erase. |
System menu is meant for running the main functions of the program and consists of the next items:
| Show/Hide | Shows or hides the Marker |
| Open | Opens the samples and saved areas; |
| Save As | Saves the Areas under a particular name; |
| About | Displays the version number of this program; |
| Register | Opens the dialog window to register the program; |
| Exit | Closes the Marker and runs the Areas program. |
